Paid by card straight away. The lot is yours and bidding on it ends. Also enters you in the Arbaeen raffle. Offered until the bidding reaches $250.

or bid

Enter $120 or more. This is a limit, not a payment — most winners pay less than the number they enter. Only your initials are ever shown to other bidders.

✓Nothing is charged while the auction is running.
✓If someone outbids you, you owe nothing at all.
✓You are never charged more than the number you enter.
✓A bid here also enters you in the Arbaeen raffle.
How the bidding works

It works the way eBay does. You enter the most you would pay — your limit. The site then bids for you, going only as high as it must to keep you in front, and stopping dead at your limit. It never goes a dollar over.

1 Bidding is at $110. You enter $150 as your limit.
2 Later someone else enters $120 as theirs.
3 Your limit is higher, so you stay in front automatically — at $130, one step above them. You did nothing; you were asleep.
4 The lot closes there. You pay $130 — not the $150 you entered. The rest was never needed.

Your limit stays private. Nobody sees it, and the price on the page only shows how far the bidding actually got.

Bids marked (auto) below are exactly this — the site raising someone's bid for them, inside the limit they already set.

You are emailed the moment someone passes your limit, so you can decide whether to raise it. Bids in the last 2 minutes push the closing time out, so nothing can be stolen in the final second.

If you would rather keep it simple: just enter the exact amount you want to bid. It behaves like any ordinary auction — you bid $120, you lead at $120.

Arbaeen raffle — how it works

Every bid you place on any item enters you in a raffle for an Arbaeen package with a US-based Kafila. You get one entry for each different item you bid on — bidding on five items gives you five entries, not five entries for bidding five times on one item. Once you have bid, sharing a lot on WhatsApp earns you one bonus entry; if you don't share, you keep every entry you earned by bidding.

It's free to enter: bidding costs nothing, and you don't need to win the item to win the raffle. The winner is drawn at random when the auction closes on Saturday 17 October at 8 PM, on the Wiladat of Bibi Zainab (s.a.), and contacted directly. No purchase is necessary to enter.
